No network capability at all
The INTERNET permission is not declared in the manifest, so the operating system itself blocks any outbound connection. There is no remote server, no account and no sync.

Every captured notification is written to an AES-encrypted Room database on internal storage. Nothing is left in world-readable files, and nothing is backed up to a cloud account.

NotiVault questions
Does NotiVault really have no internet access?
Correct. android.permission.INTERNET is absent from the app, along with every other network permission. The app cannot open a socket, so nothing can be uploaded — by us or by anyone else.
Are there ads or trackers?
None. No ad SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers are bundled, in either the free tier or Lifetime Pro. There is no advertising identifier.
Where is my notification history stored?
Only on your phone, in an AES-encrypted local database. Clearing the app data or uninstalling NotiVault deletes it permanently — we hold no copy, and cannot recover it for you.
What exactly does Bank Shield redact?
It detects and masks card numbers, account balances, transaction amounts and one-time passwords before a notification is written to the database, so sensitive values are not stored in plain text.
